Suspected Russian fighters and Mali forces killed 300 civilians, says rights group

DAKAR (AFP) – Malian forces and suspected Russian fighters killed about 300 civilians in late March in the centre of the conflict-torn Sahel nation, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Tuesday (April 5).

In a report, the rights group suggested the alleged massacre perpetrated over four days, in the town of Moura in volatile central Mali, was a war crime.
