Monrovia, March 25, 2026 — The Movement for Progressive Change (MPC) has called on President Joseph Boakai and the Government of Liberia to avoid what it described as “dramatic” responses to the ongoing Liberia-Guinea border dispute and instead provide clear information about the situation.
In a statement read on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the opposition party said there has been sustained commercial activity along the disputed border area for decades without confrontation between Liberia and Guinea.
