Monrovia, Liberia – March 26, 2026 – Liberia’s Joint Security has clarified that the communiqué signed by President Joseph Boakai, Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio, and Guinea’s leader Mamadi Doumbouya during their recent Conakry meeting does not reference any map or border adjustment.
Security authorities confirmed the agreement only reaffirms the leaders’ commitment to the inviolability of borders and Liberia’s territorial integrity.
